Was? Online-Workshop mit internationalen Gästen. Die Kommunikationsexpert*innen von Black Sands Communications und Das Momentum sowie die Datenanalyst*innen von stack werden Ergebnisse aus der Studie „Money Talks Debt“ (https://moneytalksresearch.org/debtdashboard) vorstellen und Tipps und Hinweise geben, wie Themen rund um Schulden speziell in der deutschen Öffentlichkeit strategisch kommuniziert werden können.
Wann? Der Workshop findet am 25.09. von 14:00-15:30 Uhr in englischer Sprache statt.

Wer? Der Workshop richtet sich insbesondere an Menschen und Organisationen rund um die Erlassjahr 2025-Kampagne, ist aber auch offen für weitere Interessierte. Im Rahmen des Workshops wird es eine Arbeitsgruppen-Phase geben, innerhalb derer die Kampagnen-Aktiven einen eigenen Breakout Room bekommen, in dem dann auf Deutsch gearbeitet wird.
Im Anschluss an den Workshop gibt es ca. 10 Minuten Pause. Von 15:40 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr findet das reguläre Kampagnen-Meeting im selben Zoom-Raum statt.

You are warmly invited to a 90-minute online workshop on 25 September at 14:00 CET exploring German public opinion on international debt issues. The session will present new polling and testing insights, followed by interactive breakout discussions and a joint reflection on implications for advocacy and communications. The goal is to better understand how debt debates resonate in the German context, how they connect to broader themes such as IFA reform, climate, and social justice, and most importantly how advocacy messaging on debt can be strengthened.
Participants are also invited to bring an example of their communications work around the topics of sovereign debt and financial justice (e.g. a press release, an op-ed, a social media post, …). The speakers will use these examples, among others, to provide recommendations for future communication.
Additional information for everyone involved in the campaign “Erlassjahr 2025 – Turn Debt into Hope”: After the workshop and a 10 minute break, we will continue with our regular campaign meeting in the same Zoom meeting (3.40 pm – 4.30 pm, language: German).
